Find An Expert
How to Find An Expert
- To find an expert, place at least one search term in the form on the right side of this page (or any other page providing the Find An Expert search form)
- Each space-separated search term will be included in the search,
e.g. “bird ecology” results in matches if an expert's
research interest includes “bird” OR “ecology”
- If
no matches are found for multiple words, try just one word,
e.g. “bird” instead of “bird ecology”
- If no matches are found for a word, e.g. “ecology”, try just
the stem of the word, e.g. “ecol”, which would match both “ecology” and “ecological”
- Searching is independent of word case, so “Bird” and “bird”
will both produce the same number of matches
- Not all staff have chosen to provide research interest keywords,
so if none of the above has been helpful, browse some staff profiles
(see People) to see whether the text of their
profile provides more information
- This web site search helps you to pinpoint an expert in an
area, however staff are often busy. Please do not be offended
if email to a staff member yields no response
