Profile

Research Scientist, Western Australian Herbarium.
Employed under the Biodiversity Conservation Initiative (BCI) programme: Resolution and description of new plant species in the Yilgarn ironstone and Ravensthorpe Range areas subject to mining interest

Expertise

I have taxonomic expertise in the following groups: Sphaerolobium (Fabaceae: Mirbelieae), Synaphea (Proteaceae: Conospermeae) and Tetratheca (Elaeocarpaceae, formerly Tremandraceae) and have been involved in both taxonomic revision, phylogenetic research using both morphological and molecular characters, and conservation biology.
